Privacy Policy

DigitalDolly respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your sensitive documents. Document Storage: Your documents are stored in encrypted private cloud storage with bank-level encryption while stored and during transfer. Documents are accessible only through your authenticated account using temporary secure links that expire automatically (5 minutes for viewing, 24 hours for shared links). No public links are used. AI Document Extraction: AI document extraction is optional. When enabled, DigitalDolly uses OpenAI's API to automatically extract key information such as document names, dates, and categories from your uploaded documents. The document file is sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI does not use your documents for AI model training; content is handled according to OpenAI's API data policies. You can disable AI extraction at any time in Settings, or enter document details manually. Payment Processing: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe (bank-level payment security). DigitalDolly never sees or stores your credit card information. Reminders: Our automated system accesses document metadata (names and expiration dates) to send renewal reminders. The system never reads document contents. Reminders are only sent for documents where you enable email notifications. Sharing: Shared links are temporary secure links that expire within 24 hours and cannot be modified to access other documents. Backups: You can export your data at any time. Backups contain only your own documents. Data Access: DigitalDolly does not provide an admin dashboard for browsing customer documents. Your documents are stored privately and access is restricted to your account. In rare situations, authorized technical staff may require limited access to help protect your account, assist with account recovery, provide support you request, maintain the security and reliability of the service, or comply with applicable legal obligations. Any such access is limited, purpose-specific, and logged for audit purposes. Automated systems access only metadata, never document contents. Third-Party Services: OpenAI (AI extraction), Stripe (payments), and Base44 (hosting). The platform infrastructure supports recognized security and privacy standards. Your Rights: Export or delete your data anytime from Account Settings. We do not sell your personal data.
